Giving to St Paul’s
We believe that God invites us as a church and as individuals to depend on Him for everything that we need and to discover His extraordinary provision as we learn to give generously. Giving money regularly is an important expression of gratitude and love for God that is part of our ongoing transformation, as well as an important way of demonstrating practical commitment to our church family.
We receive no financial support from the Government or the Church of England, other than the support of our vicars. As such, the mission and ministry of St Paul’s depends almost entirely on the generous giving of our church family. Each year we carefully plan our annual budget and use it for the following:
sustain and grow our mission to Harrow and the wider world
invest in paid staff who help us to develop our outreach, youth & children’s work, worship and administration (meet our staff and leadership team here)
maintain our church buildings and premises

How can I give?
If you are able to commit to giving regularly (planned giving) by setting up a regular payment that is really helpful for us as it enables us to plan our income properly. It is important that regular and planned giving should be a prayerful response from the heart, so before setting up a regular gift, take time to pray and consider your monthly finances carefully and explore with God how much it is right for you to give.
You can make a one-off donation or set up a regular payment via the Parish Giving Scheme here.

Giving your time
Giving isn’t just about money, we also love to see everyone giving their time and energy to serve God’s Kingdom.
Many people are involved in making our Sunday services happen: from serving coffee or welcoming at the door to joining the worship team, leading prayers or reading, it is important that everyone can be involved. There are also opportunities to help with our Children and Youth work and to serve on our Maintenance and Church Cleaning teams.

A lasting legacy?
For the longer term do consider if you are able to leave a gift for St Paul’s in your will. Such donations are particularly valuable for building developments such as a new community building where our current Scout Hut stands.

Money Problems?
Many of us struggle with our finances. For some, it is about not having enough money, while others struggle with having too much. How we spend our money can be a source of great confusion and worry.
